Most of Milton is newer — Beaty, Coates, Ford, Willmott, Harrison and Timberlea are all subdivisions built out over the last fifteen or twenty years, and the paint that came with those houses was picked for cost, not colour. Builder-grade flat white on drywall that’s rarely been primed properly. Downtown around Main Street and the older pockets near the GO station, there are still century homes with real wood trim and a few decades of paint layered on top, which is a completely different job.

We treat those two situations differently, because they need different things. New construction gets a real primer coat before colour goes anywhere near it. Older Milton homes get the trim stripped back, cracks filled and sanded properly, not painted over. Either way, you get one price in writing before we start, and it’s the number you actually pay.
